CLIMBS programme

The CLIMBS programme improves the health of workers in their jobs, focusing on the prevention and treatment of overweight and obesity conditions.

It is a low-cost program that encourages the habit of climbing stairs and eating healthy food in the workplace.

  • It involves placing posters with motivational messages on (a) places where employees decide to use the lift or the stairs and (b) areas in restaurants, bars or cafeterias where the daily menu is chosen.
  • The effectiveness of messages and posters when it comes to the habit of taking the stairs and choosing healthy foods has been analysed scientifically.
  • It has been proven in four internationally renowned companies with headquarters in Catalonia which have been part of this project funded by the BUPA Medical Foundation.

If you would like more information about the programme or access to materials, or if you want to apply it in your workplace or in the restaurant where you usually eat lunch on weekdays, do not hesitate to contact us.

«Active Environment» Programme

The «Active Environment» programme aims to increase people’s levels of physical activity, encouraging the use of urban or natural itineraries in the neighbourhood or town where they live.

The programme consists of three distinct phases:

  • Phase 1. The features and potential of the urban and natural environment itineraries next to the municipality are analysed, in terms of suitability for physical activity.
  • Phase 2. An area for carrying out a specific physical activity is identified, if possible connecting urban and natural areas.
  • Phase 3. The impact of the various actions is assessed and the uses made by their inhabitants are evaluated.

If you want more information about the programme or wish to apply it in the town where you live, do not hesitate to contact us.
